Your first burn
Allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the vessel. This helps prevent tunneling and creates a more consistent burn throughout the candle’s life.
Before every burn
- Trim each wick to approximately ¼ inch.
- Remove wick trimmings, matches, and debris from the wax.
- Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep the wax pool free of foreign materials.
Burn safely
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable objects.
- Keep lit candles at least three inches apart.
- Do not move or touch the vessel while the wax is liquid or hot.
- Limit each burn to four hours and let the candle cool before relighting.
If a flame becomes unusually high or flickers repeatedly, extinguish the candle, let it cool, trim the wick, and check for drafts.
Know when to stop
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom. Burning beyond this point can overheat the vessel. Never use a candle that is cracked, chipped, or damaged.
